Each leading member of a dragonflight has a few named consorts that could be used for further separation/distinctions.
BRONZE - Chosen to guard time itself and police the ever-spinning pathways of fate and destiny.

RED - Chosen to safeguard all living creatures on the world.
- Alexstrasza the Life-Binder
GREEN - Chosen to watch over the growing wilds of the world from the Emerald Dream.
- Ysera the Awakened; formerly aka: Ysera the Dreamer
BLUE - Chosen to be the guardian of magic and hidden arcanum.
- Kalecgos the Steward of Magic
- Malygos the Spell-Weaver
BLACK - Given dominion over the earth and the deep places of the world.
- Deathwing the Destroyer; formerly Neltharion
- Neltharion the Earth Warder
Other significant breeds are the Nether, Infinite, and Twilight Dragonflights.
