This is a list of the first several emperors. There are more, this is maybe 50%, but this should be enough to get you through most naming schemes. Some are unwieldy, so I would suggest picking and choosing, rather than going chronologically. Also, using Akihito would be a bad idea for reasons that are more complicated than is worth explaining(discuss please), the same goes for Hirohito, unless you use the name "Shouwa".
