Finding shoes that fit you best will prevent unforeseen and embarrassing events from happening such as stepping on a partner toe. Buying salsa dance shoes with closed-in backs and enclosed heels, for instance, are often more stable than open back types of shoes.  
A good naming scheme is scalable, unique, and easy to remember. The purpose of these naming schemes is to name network computers, but it can also be used to name projects, products, variables, streets, pets, kids, or any other project where unique names and rememberable names are required.


Unlined suedes, nu-backs and leathers with no finishing are good materials that allow ladies?shoes to breathe. Some specialolymeric?synthetic materials will also enable breathing of ladies?shoes.

On the other hand, some materials lessen the breathing capacity of shoes. These materials include: leathers that have lacquers, oils, plastic and waxes finishing, non-woven synthetics and plastics and finally, non-polymeric synthetic and linings in plastic.

Uppers made of good quality leather are more beneficial than synthetic uppers since they can stretch and flex to the shape of foot without breaking. This will allow you more room for movement when dancing.

Finding a proper sole for your salsa dance shoes is another important factor to look into. Sole materials in dance shoes are oftentimes thin and flexible. The materials used involved leather, suede leather, light resin, micro-cellular rubber and polyurethane. Suede leather are probably the lightest and thinnest and most flexible. They can be used for all types of ballroom dancing but not on a wet or hard surface. They are best worn on a wooden floor surface.

Leather soles that are smooth may make dancing it too slippery for you to dance. These type of shoes often get ruined if they become wet. Dancers with more experiences can command more control over these shoes on the dance floor. This is good for dancers who love to do a number of quick spins during the dance.

Salsa shoes with thin resin soles do not undergo wear and tear easily. They can be used on all dance floor surfaces. They are not as slippery as the leather soles. They are also softer. They are good for dancers who can dance on all kinds of floor surfaces.

When it comes to heels, the ideal height is normally between 2 to 2 ?inches. This is between 51mm and 63 mm. Most professional dancers however prefer 7 cm heel or 2.35 inches. You should get used to at least this height of heel if you are aiming to become a professional.

You can also opt for the Cuban heel, this is a wider shoes that provides more stability. It is not unusual for some dancers to prefer heels higher than 2 ?inches. Some like to wear 3 inches or 75mm. There are few others however who want 3 ?inches of heels or 89 mm.

Quality is an important consideration when buying salsa dance footwear. Shoes should not tear easily and it should reathe?so you will not sweat a lot. Price should not be a major consideration. If you want quality, then you should be willing to pay for it.

Do not buy plastic shoes. This will make your foot sweat, making it very uncomfortable for you to dance. Genuine leather can withstand prolong use and are more resistant.

Suede is a good choice of material also. However, it is very flexible and easily loses shape after continuous use. If you take good care of your salsa shoes then there is no reason why your dancing footwear will not last for a long time.
